What a wonderful year we’ve had here at Suzanne Neville, dressing more beautiful Brides than ever before, and not just in the UK but in America, Japan, France and Australia too!. We’ve welcomed exciting new stockists, and continued to work with our wonderful existing very loyal Boutiques. Many of which Suzanne has visited for Designer days this year, meeting Brides from all over the UK.
The beginning of the year saw a rather exciting red carpet moment at the Oscars, when we dressed Sari Mercer, Girlfriend to Chiwetel Ejiofor who was nominated for Best Actor. This midnight blue backless satin bias cut dress was seen all over the world. Then to end the year with dresses on both the X Factor and Strictly Finals once again has been a real treat. Other celebrities we have created dresses for for the many glamorous events this year include, The Saturdays, Amanda Holden, Tess Daly and Katherine Jenkins to name a few. In fact we created the most important dress of Katherine’s life in September when Suzanne designed her wedding dress for her marriage to Andrew Levitas at Hampton Court Place in a lavish ceremony. Made in silk organza, chiffon and lace with a huge train, and hand beaded detail, Katherine’s dress had a fairytale feel for a magical day.
This year has seen a whole new website, giving us a fresh new look and a site that is much easier to navigate, its a work in progress but we do hope you like it!. We’ve Introduced a lifestyle section for other products and added a new evening wear section. The perfume has been re-branded and it is already hugely in demand, we hope to grow this further in the coming year so watch this space. For the first time we’ve produced a luxury silk scarf for the wonderful charity SkillForce, this scarf is available to purchase in Suzanne Neville stores and the money raised will go directly to the charity. We were lucky enough to attend the SkillForce 10th anniversary Gala dinner at the Imperial war museum with Royal Patron The Duke of Cambridge in November. This prestigious event was an absolute honor to attend.
The Knightsbridge store was also given a makeover so Brides can feel special in the new glamorous surroundings.
We were thrilled to receive the award for Best Designer at this years Perfect Wedding Awards, as this was voted for by Brides themselves it couldn’t mean more to us, so thank you so much to all those who voted for us.
