Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley celebrated their wedding this Sunday with an intimate London celebration at St Pauls church followed by a reception at The Arts Club. The devoted couple married after a 4 year engagement, surrounded by family and friends, including Frank’s children Luna and Isla. Christine chose designer and friend Suzanne Neville to create her bespoke dress, after working with her for five for years. Her five bridesmaids, Luna, Isla, Christine’s sister Nicola, Franks sister Claire and Niece Mia, were also dressed by Suzanne Neville.
Christine's stunning long sleeved wedding gown was created with a silk satin organza skirt and embroidered lace, with hand sewn pearls, appliqued tulle and sequins throughout which subtly sparkle as the light catches them. A satin belt highlights Christine’s svelte waist. The delicate fabric and the way the lace is used frames Christine’s neckline beautifully, adding softness and an air of romance to the underlying figure hugging fishtail shape and dramatic plunging neckline. The balance between keeping the dress current and modern works by grounding it with the softer more romantic fabrics for both Christine’s character and the venue
Suzanne commented:
“I couldn’t be happier for Christine and Frank, they are a match made in heaven. I can’t imagine a couple more perfectly suited than they are. I’m thrilled to be part of such a wonderful, joyful day and I wish them both a lifetime of happiness.”
